I got this beginner guitar pack because it seemed to have everything I needed to start playing. The guitar looks cool and is easy to play. It also has an amp with distortion. It also comes with a CD-ROM that teaches you how to play. It is more of a rock approach to guitar, including songs by Green Day, Nirvana and Black Sabbath. The program starts off teaching different guitar skills and then teaches a song with those skills.
