My hat is off to anyone who plays any musical instrument. Believe it or not, I think the ability to play a musical instrument helps a person with other things in life, such as math, problem solving and character building. No matter what instrument, I strongly recommend that every parent encourage their children to take up a musical instrument... not with the thought of being a concert musician, but just for the joy of it and the other great things that come from playing an instrument. Just a thought.
